Kehot Publication Society & Merkos Publications, a publication divisions of the Chabad Lubavitch movement were established in 1942 by the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Joseph Isaac Schneersohn. Under a leadership of his successor, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, Kehot claims it has become the world's big publisher of Jewish literature, with to a higher degree 100,000,000 volumes printed up to now within Hebrew, Yiddish, English, Russian, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, German, Persian & Arabic. A title Kehot is an acronym for Karnei Hod Torah (a Crown of the Torah's Stateliness), & a deuce-ace Hebrew letters feature in the publishing home's logotype.
